Quake 4 Competition - New CAL 1 V 1 Season

CAL NewsCal has announced a new season of 1 v 1 and 2 v 2 Quake 4 action.

In an effort to try to convenience everyone CAL is going to strive to finish before the Christmas/New Year break so there will be two games a week with the default days being Sundays/Wednesdays for 1v1 and Mondays/Thursdays for 2v2 and that will include a week off for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

For 1v1 the Invite and Open divisions have been combined into one divison for this season to help with the competitiveness and activity of the game, but should there be a good turnout and activity this season expect the Invite division to come back.

Signups will be open until November 5th with the season starting on the 8th for 1v1. For 2v2 signups will be open until November 6th with the season starting on the 9th.

Please visit the forum for any type of open discussion and/or questions you have. CAL will be having preseason matches on November 1/5 for 1v1 and November 2/6 for 2v2, so if there are any type of new maps that you would like to try out in order to replace some (for 1v1), or add (for 2v2 for an ideal pool of 5), stop by and share your opinions.

CAL is looking at Grinder, StormDM4 Beta 5, Ruiner for inclusion in the map pool. Let then know what you think in the forums.
