| Quake 4 News - CAL Q4 Ctf Regular Season Starts | |

Bnegative vs Ninth Legion: Expect Bnegative to win this one, though they will likely drop a map. Bnegative is a very strong squad, with wicked railers a player that once touted himself as the greatest ctf player of all time (mickey). Ninth Legion is a strong team with experienced players, and while they have been scrimming a fair amount, expect the holidays to take their toll.
excite vs the Unforgiven Gunmen: This one should be interesting. excite is strong team that scrims incessantly, but you see the gunmen scrimming quite a bit as well. If xUx fields their best lineup I expect to them put up a strong fight. In the end, I believe excite will prevail but this could be an upset.
Wicked Mojo vs superNOVA: Again, these are both strong teams, but I think the experience of Wicked Mojo will pay off. This match will definitely be worth watching the demos.
Alliance of Pain vs The Peacemakers: It comes down to whether or not PM cares about Q4 ctf. They have not been scrimming as much as I would have thought. However, they were considered to be the best American Q3 ctf team several years and championship level experience gives a team an edge. Moreover, Recoil has a habit of recruiting players from defunct teams that gave PM trouble. 44, stickmen, Rise and Fall , and affliction (at one time) all making that list among others. That being the case, clock and yrim joined the crew, making an already punishing lineup even more ridiculous. With AOP fielding a strong squad expect a fierce battle but I am betting on ]PM[.
RogueKrieg vs Negative Influence: I have no idea if -i has been playing. I expect they have scrimmed a bit but to what extent I couldn't say. RogueKrieg is a good, solid team. This one is anyone's guess but it should be a good match to watch.
