Just in case anyone has problems getting it from the CPL site, these are the files you need to watch demos from the CPL Winter 2005 event.
From Admin: I would provide the links but for some reason they are not allowing it. You will need to go here to download the files.
They belong in your Quake4/q4max directory.
Note that this is NOT a general release and hence not on SteamFish: it does not contain a Linux server or any documentation. It's being supplied solely to watch the CPL demos with, and is unsupported for any other use.
The True Carnage servers WILL NOT be updated with this file.
We will be waiting for the release. I will say though I took the time to tinker with it and check it out on my machine. The HUDS are nice and the menus are a help but the thing that blew me away was the vertex lighting. That alone has the potential to double the size of the Q4 community right out of the gate. There are alot of people who can't play Q4 on their machines sweating the cost of upgrading that may not need to now.
