| Quake 4 Gets the Bone from Quakecon | |
 Quake 4 CTF will sadly NOT be a part of the QuakeCon team games. The team games for this year will be a ETQW PC version as well as a console version(fairly stupid in my opinion, but id wants to show the console monkeys some love) and a Quake Live CTF tournament with $12,500 in prize money. That should pull some good teams out of the woodwork and while I would personally prefer Q4CTF, there is no doubt that there will be some seriously intense competition in QL CTF. Hopefully we will be able to have some coverage of the event. We'll see what happens.
There will also be a 1 v 1 tourney as well with $12,500 in prize money as well. Read the rest of the details here:LINK
Regardless, we will continue doing what we do, and we should have some details of the next True Carnage ctf league soon. We are looking forward to the biggest and best league yet so stay tuned! |

12,500 dollar TOTAL purse, I doubt you'll see champions come out of hiding. I bet there will be some pros here and there, but nothing if there was a good cash pool. Q3 CTF channels haven't even seen increased activity yet. However, ill be looking for a team if anybody is interested. |
