| Quake 4 Mods - Angry Porcupine Dev Press Release | |
 This press release was issued by Lilie of the Angry Porcupine Development Team, makers of Delta CTF.
Quake 4 Community,
The Angry Porcupine Development Team would like to first say that we are thankful for the support we did receive from the community that plays and surrounds Quake 4. Without you we would not have gotten as far as quickly as we did. In 6 months we produced and released one of the best Quake 4 modifications available to the public, and in 2 months more time we were able to patch it to make it a fully complete package. Albeit not complete to what all we wanted to do, nor did we intend to stop there, but it is complete for the community that is active for Quake 4. We also have formed the close knit and talented team that we have today and it is that we are most thankful for.
The future of the Angry Porcupine Development Team is in the eyes of many individuals, and groups a like, wondering where we will go next, and what goodies we can pull out of our pockets for you now. According to our previous schedules and project list, we would be moving on to more projects for the Delta Community. We will continue to update Delta CTF with any patches that may be necessary for compatibly for Quake 4. However, after reevaluating our end goals and time tables we have decided to step into a different direction of our development work.
For now we really can not say too much of where that direction will lead us or what exactly it is we are working on, but I can say this: The Angry Porcupines understand and have heard the requests of the FPS community many times and through various resources. For the most part we agree with you. Changes need to happen and someone should step up and make that happen.
I hope to bring you more information as it becomes more publicly available. Right now I will bring attention to the fact that we are looking to strengthen our team a bit with more quality talent. We will get around to updating it sometime this week!
